KEMI’s records are subject to The Kentucky Open Records Act (KRS 61.870 to KRS 61.884) which provides access to public records by residents of the Commonwealth of Kentucky unless they fall within a specific exemption found in the Act or KRS 342.841. To request copies of or inspect public records, please make a written request that is addressed to the General Counsel. The request must include the requestor’s printed name, statement of the manner in which the requestor is a resident of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, address and signature and specifically describe the records requested. You may utilize the Request to Inspect Public Records form. KEMI will accept your request by hand delivery, mail, fax or email. KEMI may charge a reasonable fee for production of its records.
